For the last year, Paul Pogba has endured a frustrating time in Manchester. The second half of 2016/17 and all of 2017/18 has been more frustrating than many would have expected for a player of such class. With the finger now being pointed at Jose Mourinho for his loss of form, though, could he be on the move? According to Sports Illustrated, that’s the case.
They report that his agent, Mino Raiola, has been busy hawking the Frenchman around the top European clubs to try and drum up interest. Apparently, his poor relationship with Mourinho means that he might turn to a move either back to Italy or, more likely to Spain or France in the near future.
Even though it’s claimed Mourinho is not yet ready to give up or move on from the Pogba experiment, the player himself is less keen to stick around. With a player of such immense repute and talent, though, the main challenge will be finding a package that United and Pogba would both agree to in a bid to get him out of Manchester.
One thing is for sure; the return of Pogba hasn’t went as was intended.
