For Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba, the dream pairing up at Old Trafford and Manchester United has hardly gone as well as hoped. Rumours have been thrown around that the Frenchman might depart from Old Trafford in the summer. however, according to BBC Sport, that’s not the case. When asked about the future of the France international after the 0-0 draw with West Ham United, Mourinho was pretty emphatic, saying: “I think he’s going to be here next season,

“That’s my feeling,

“I can give the guarantee that I don’t want him to leave, that the club doesn’t want to sell him, and I can give you the guarantee that we don’t have any approach from him or his agent or from any club.

“In this moment, he’s staying, yes.”

For United fans, keeping hold of a player who cold clearly become one of the best in the world should be a must. With 6 goals and 10 assists from just 26 games, Pogba has impressed in the league and could come even further with a more ambitious line-up around him.

As it stands, then, it appears he’ll remain at United for the foreseeable future, anyway.
